DANA CIOCARLIE
Her experience and her talent earned her numerous prizes at prestigious
international competitions, among them the Grand Prix of the Robert
Schumann International Competition in Zwickau, the Sándor Végh Special
Prize at the Géza Anda Competition in Zurich, the International Pro Musicis
Prize and the Young Concert Artist European Auditions in Leipzig.
Dana Ciocarlie is also much sought after as a chamber music partner.
In January 2017 she was named ‘Yamaha Concert Pianist’ by Yamaha Artist
Services Europe.
She appears regularly in the concerto repertoire and as a recitalist and
chamber musician. Her cycle of the works of Robert Schumann in Jean-
Pierre Derrien’s radio series ‘L’Atelier dumusicien’ ranwithout interruption on
France Musique from 2002 to 2014.
Dana Ciocarlie is a Professor at the Conservatoire National de Musique de
Lyon and the École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot.
