48 PASSAGE: A SPIRITUAL ODYSSEY Georgian pianist Salome Jordania (b. 1996) has appeared internationally as a recitalist, chamber musician, and concerto soloist across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Born into a family of musicians in Tbilisi, Georgia, she is the granddaughter of the late conductor Vakhtang Jordania. She began piano studies at the age of seven with Natalia Natsvlishvili and was named Cultural Ambassador of Georgia at the age of 13. Winner of the New York Concert Artists Competition, she made her debut at Die Berliner Philharmonie in 2023. Highlights also include debut recitals at the Wigmore and Cadogan Halls in London. She has been invited to perform at major festivals and concert series including Piano aux Jacobins, Piano en Valois, L’esprit du Piano Festival, Festival de Musique de Menton (France), Chipping Campden Festival, St George’s Bristol, Great Comp Festival (UK), Texas International Piano Festival, Yamaha Rising Stars Concerts in Tokyo, the Grachten Festival in Amsterdam, Georges Cziffra Festival in Vienna, Settimane Internazionali Musicali in Italy, Palazzetto Bru Zane in Venice, and the Gijón International Piano Festival in Spain. As a concerto soloist, she has collaborated with orchestras including the Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra, SLO Symphony in California, Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Giuseppe Verdi in Italy, Orquesta de Valencia, Orchestre de Picardie, Moscow Virtuosi, Potsdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, UAT Symphony in Mexico, and Kharkiv Philharmonic Orchestra, among others.
