

A.C.: How was it working with François Eckert, your artistic
director?
G.H.
: This recording was a pure pleasure from beginning to end. It was important
for David and me to be able to make this recording, which we both wanted so
much, with the help of someone as sensitive as François, on both a human and
musical level. Particularly since in terms of style andMendelssohn’s vision, wewere
all three in perfect agreement and truly sharing the music.
