Everything I have been fortunate enough to achieve in my career has come, in one way or another, thanks to competitions. Not necessarily because of the prizes themselves, but because they allow you to extend your limits, broaden your repertoire, and above all meet people who can play a decisive role in your journey. For example, my career in France began thanks to The Valencia International Piano Competition Prize Iturbi, Catherine d’Argoubet, who was a member of the jury, launched my career in France by inviting me to her festival, Piano aux Jacobins and suggested my name to La Dolce Volta. Without that, none of what is happening to me today would have come about. You never know what may result from a competition. And yes, perhaps I do enjoy pushing myself to an extreme level, but that is precisely what is driving me forward.
