31 TRIO METRAL Since we’re talking about the notion of sound balance, can you tell us about the recording? We were lucky enough to have the advantage of the outstanding acoustics of the Arsenal de Metz and of Ken Yoshida as recording producer. We worked in very close symbiosis with him. It was a wonderful musical and human encounter. He pushed us to our limits and brought out the best in us, with remarkable knowledge of the artists and the works. He enabled us to feel completely free. This experience will certainly have helped to forge the sound of our trio.
