Yes, it’s a sort of cat-and-mouse game: the two voices, which seem to be improvised, go in opposite directions until they meet in the central section around a little swaying melody. The transcription of Chôro no.2 is stylistically close to the pieces of A próle do bébé , but it leads me to seek out and create specific timbres in order to bring a personal vision to bear on the work.
