Here, in just the same way, it was essential to find the ideal harmonic balance between one piece and the next and to ensure a sonic and emotional rationale would emerge. That was imperative if we were to create a harmonious trajectory through the different musical worlds. Does this also give the listener a certain freedom? Even when we’re listening passively, our brain is still unconsciously responding to stimuli. Is it really that crucial to know how and in what context people will listen to our album?
